Fargo, ND (Jan. 12, 2026) – Golden Path Solutions and the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce have partnered to expand work-based learning across the region and strengthen the future workforce. The collaboration will connect local students to hands-on experiences through Golden Path’s Compass platform while helping employers engage earlier with emerging talent.
Both organizations are excited to build on their shared efforts through a partnership that enhances how employers engage with Compass, an innovative workforce platform from Golden Path Solutions that connects employers with high school students based on traits, interests, and talents. Founded in 2019, Compass was built to help employers identify future talent while giving students meaningful career exploration tools and real-world learning experiences that guide them toward a right-fit career path. All North Dakota middle and high school students have access to Compass thanks to a collaboration with North Dakota Career and Technical Education. Several Minnesota schools also have access, including Moorhead High School.

The partnership kicked off in 2025 by delivering a series of Work-Based Learning (WBL) training webinars for employers, developed in direct response to employer needs identified through Industry Sector Partnership convenings. The webinar series gave regional employers a clear starting point for launching or expanding work-based learning programs, including what qualifies as WBL, how to connect with students and how to use WBL as a long-term workforce strategy. The collaboration has since expanded to support Chamber members by providing easier access to the Compass platform, guidance and resources to strengthen workforce strategies, and discounted pricing on select fee-based Compass services.
