As we look to the new year, we’re making some improvements to our employer services offerings that will bring more value to your organizations, schools, and students, as well as welcome more employers into our ecosystem.

New membership benefits include unlimited Career Profiles

Our new employer membership pricing makes it easier to get involved and share your information with students. At just $500 per year, the newly designed Awareness Membership level enables employers to create unlimited employer-written Career Profiles, access marketing templates for outreach and events, and reach students and school professionals in our online platform, Compass. We’ll also market your business in our newsletter, employer emails, and other communications.

Higher levels of memberships are also available and include more personalized services. We will continue to provide free services, enabling every employer to connect with schools and offer work-based learning experiences.

Moving away from pricing based on individual Career Profiles allows you to create as many profiles as you need to highlight roles at your organization. It expands our focus to sharing all of your company highlights, strengths, and opportunities with schools and students. Of course, we can still create professionally written Career Profiles for an additional fee.

If you’re an existing customer with Career Profiles that are coming up for renewal, we’ll work with you to find the best membership level.

Connections Membership introduces you directly to students

Including all of the benefits of the Awareness Membership, the new Connections Membership connects you directly with students who meet the skillsets you’re looking for. Previously tied to a specific Career Profile, the membership now enables you to seek matches for a variety of roles. Our staff visits with students who opt-in to our matching process and introduces you to those we think are a good fit for your business. You can choose what to do with the introduction: offering a work-based learning experience, staying in touch for future opportunities, or offering a Placement or Sponsorship, including a tuition reimbursement incentive.

Introducing the Strategy and Partnership Membership levels

For organizations that want to establish a more systematic way of connecting with schools and students to build a future workforce pipeline, the Strategy and Partnership Membership levels can help. Both levels feature a personalized strategy session where we explore what you want to achieve, the critical roles you need to fill, and the talents you’re looking for. These levels include professionally written Career Profiles and hands-on assistance in designing work-based learning opportunities that feed into those careers.  We’ll introduce you to school professionals, recommend events to help promote your company and opportunities, and even help you navigate funding programs that can help pay for the work.  With the Partnership Membership, we act as an extension of your team, reviewing progress and driving monthly meetings as we work to bring your strategy to life.

Increased visibility to regional school professionals

Your annual membership fees enable us to expand and enhance the visibility and adoption of Compass across the region. In the new year, we’ll also offer parts of Compass to any school or school professional in the region at no cost. This includes access to the Employer Connections Database and work-based learning opportunities. If a school has not yet completed a Compass rollout, their staff will now be able to see your contact information, reach out to you if they have a student interested in your company, and provide you with more reach and visibility.

We will also be sharing our employer information through open APIs with other solutions used across the region and country. Over time, we hope this will simplify the entire sharing process for employers, reducing the need for multiple school and district solution logins. The easier we can make it for you, the better!

Free options still available

If you are unable to invest in a membership at this time, or if you want to start slowly, we still offer free options. Creating an account in Compass allows you to join the Employer Connections Database, which shares your contact information with schools. You can also still publish unlimited work-based learning opportunities, making your business visible to students.  We want to ensure that every single employer can participate, regardless of budget or time.

Other initiatives for 2025

Here’s what else you can look forward to at Golden Path Solutions in the new year:

  • Enhancing the way we share Career Profiles with students, leading to more engagement and more views
  • Adding information to the Career Profiles for the benefit of the school professional, especially helping educators understand the skills and the content they should share with students to help prepare them for careers
  • Partnering with state agencies to increase adoption and visibility, including helping them meet their goals. (Read the latest North Dakota Workforce Development Council report highlighting work-based learning and career exploration as major initiatives. We will be helping support those efforts.)
  • Giving students the ability to log in to Compass and view information even if their school hasn’t yet adopted Compass
  • Opening Compass to college students, driving more visibility for your organization

As we roll out these new pricing options in 2025, we will contact existing Compass users to discuss your improved benefits and how your renewals look moving forward. For those of you in Compass but not yet taking advantage of our services, we’ll help you understand how our memberships will help get you in front of students, highlighting your business and opportunities.
