(Fargo, ND) – Golden Path Solutions in Fargo, ND, welcomes Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, as the first private four-year college to use the online platform Compass to highlight its programs to high school students.

Concordia joins a community of more than 23,000 students, 250 high schools and middle schools, and 600 employers already using Compass for meaningful career exploration and to build future workforce. The easy-to-use platform fosters connections between high school students, regional employers, and colleges, enabling students to find future careers and the specific educational programs that align with those careers and industry needs. Explore Concordia’s profile in Compass.

Thanks to Compass, Concordia will be able to share valuable college and program information with all high school students across North Dakota and several schools across Minnesota. As these students use Compass to search for careers, track their high school education, and plan for their futures, they will discover detailed information about Concordia, its programs, and ties to employers and careers.

“There’s a lot to consider when choosing what to do after high school,” said Ben Iverson, vice president for Enrollment at Concordia. “We’re happy to join the Compass platform to showcase what Concordia has to offer to help students find the right fit for their passions and career goals.”

Concordia will use Compass to highlight several of its programs, including nursing, social work, finance, exercise science, theater arts, and music. In addition to learning about Concordia’s liberal arts focus and variety of majors, high school students will be able to explore the links between Concordia’s programs and related careers at regional companies.

Concordia joins five other colleges already in Compass: North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton and Fargo, North Dakota State University in Fargo, Mayville (ND) State University, Bismarck (ND) State College, and Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls, MN. Lynnes Welding Training in Fargo is also featured as a postsecondary education option.

“We’re excited to welcome Concordia to the Compass community,” says Golden Path Solutions Founder and CEO Patrick Mineer. “It’s a great opportunity for students to discover more programs, learn more about a liberal arts education, and explore connections between programs and regional employers and careers.”
